It all begain in 1972. Two born Boenisch's, Justin and Jeremiah (cousins), entered the world and began a journey that would take them though California, Oregon, Nevada, Idaho, Florida and ultimately around the world on all sorts of adventures. Their parents would always call them, and any other male member of the
family, "Jake" and so the name began and has stuck for all these years. At an early age Justin and Jeremiah could be found fishing for Crawfish in their favorite creek, hanging at Disneyland, or at New Port Beach sporting their "Maui and Sons" gear. Wherever it is, whether it be Las Vegas, Hawaii, Japan or Thailand they are always bonded by their families, their blood and their friendship.
It is the same bond you will find at the original Jakes in Southern Havasu.....after all this is God's country and who better to hang out with than the crowd at Jake's. We hope you enjoy your time here and that you'll come back to the place Justin and Jeremiah call home.
